Thoughts and Prayers......

Jeannie-
Our thoughts and prayers have been with your family since Alberts sent me the first update.
Keep the faith and we will keep praying.
Bennett and Cathy

It's your 3rd cousin

Hi Macey girl,

It has been a while since I saw you last. I hope you remember me and my sister Maria.

I want you to know you are on a continual prayer vigil in a group that has strong belief in miracles and I know God's angels work continuously for you and by you. They will not leave your side anytime soon. I promise you that.

I hope to visit you soon. I am visiting a hospital close to where you are daily for my treatment and rehabilitation, too. This week is my last and my hardest so, I will try calling you first.

I love you, Cousin Angie

Hey Macey

Hey Macey, I'm one of your Mom's ( I call her Boss Lady) worker bees. I have never met you or Logan, but have heard many store about both you guys. Your the same age as my youngest son, so your Mom and I have exchanged many stories about how 16 year olds can be. Just from what Mom and I have talked about, I know your a very strong willed young lady, so I know you will fight your way through this. Our prayers are with you and your family. I'm looking forward to the day that I can come over to the house and we can sit by your pool and I can look over at you a see what a miracle looks like.
bj ( Mom calls me bj )

HANG IN THERE!

Macey,
Your Uncle Frank, Aunt Brandi, Coleton & Hunter love you very much and want you to know you are in our prayers every night. I know you have a long road a head of you, but one day this will all be behind you. You are a beacon of strength and will get through this with the help of friends and family. We will see you on Sunday.

Best Regards,
Frank & Brandi
We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Get well soon.

Albers Family
Macey, you have many friends who want you to get well soon!

Jeannie my heart is heavy for YOU and your entire family. Take care of yourself and get as much rest as you can. Macey will need you even more as she recovers.

I have added Macey to our prayer ministry at Church. Isaiah 41:10 tells us: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Call/Text me if I can be of help.

Macey,
Just wanted you to know that there is not a day that goes by that you are not in my prayers.
You are loved so much by your family and by people that you don't even know yet. Your Mom is
a very strong lady and I have no doubt that you are like her.

UPDATE ON MACEY MARCH 27TH

Hello All-

Today Macey is showing her strength! :) Day 10

She had her breathing tube removed and is doing great breathing on her own. She has had a tough and tumble day with alot of tests but is bright eyed and bushy tailed. She is responding well to requests but can not yet talk...should come in time they say....her medication is being reduced so they can get a better idea of her abilities.

Megan & Allison- She loved her poster you made her.

She loved the card Thu & Aleahandra brought that everyone signed (I read them to her) and she is aware of her surroundings and responds well when she hears voices she recognizes.

If her lungs continue to get better and her jaundis is under control, she actually may get to move to a regular room and out of ICU!!! Yeah!!

I know she appreciates all your support and kind words so keep them coming!

Will update again soon.

We are praying for you Macey

MACEY'S UPDATE

Hello All-

Today is a beautiful day and Macey is back in ICU and recovering well. She did a great job in the OR yesterday (10 hours in surgery) and is holding her own. We now are going to call her the "Bionic Girl" thanks to Dr. Dickson who put her back together with QUITE a few screws and pins.....and she is out of traction too :).

The x-rays say it all...she will have a long road ahead of her, but the outlook is great. We were lucky to have her at a wonderful hospital and have Dr. Strobel & Dr. Salinas at her side make the right decisions to get her back in the game. She is breathing well and hope that she will be off the breathing machine today and that will make her happy.

We are grateful, and we appreciate all the support from our wonderful friends!

Will keep you posted.

A kiss for You and Your Mom

Macey, here is a kiss for You and Your Mom. We are all praying for You and know that You will fight to overcome all of this.
You have the most wonderful Mom and the love and suppor of a lot of people.
Get well soon.

Get well soon

Macey,
I met you when you were in the PICU at University Hospital in San Antonio. I thought, "What a beautiful girl". I was also impressed by your sweet mother who obviously loves you so much and is devoted to you. You will always remember her as being there for you and drawing from her strength and presence. When I met your sweet mom and felt like I had known her for a very long time. I can identify with you bc I too was in a near fatal accident when I was 17. I learned so much from that experience and so much good came from that horrible event that would not have happened without it. You may well discover that for your life also in time, even though you don't see it now. Macey, just take one day at a time and before you know it, recovery will be behind you.
You are loved and prayed for by a multitude of people

My Heart is with you

Macey,

Like many others who have posted to your site we have never met but feel I know you. I know that you are a strong young woman because your mom is one of the strongest women I know. I also know that the love that she and all of us have for you will give you strength to come through this tough time. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and look forward to the day we can finally meet.

Remember you are not alone and that you have many friends, you just haven't met us all yet.

All my best - Pat Berry
Macey,

Even though we have never met I feel I know you. Your Mother talks about you all the time. I have seen pictures of you and you are beautiful. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. I have been in a similar situation on July 29, 1986. I know I am old. You will get through this! I know in my heart you are going to be home soon. I can not wait to see what kind of homecoming party your mom plans for you!!!! Get well soon. We are all praying you have a quick and speedy recovery!!!!! Lots of Love & A Big Hug For Your Mom!
