MACEY'S UPDATE SUNDAY APRIL 6TH

Hello Friends & Family-

Today Macey is doing great! She started her physical & speech therapy and is doing well. She was up today in her wheelchair and went outside.

She is cheery and loves for her friends and family to visit. She is now at TIRR hospital which is right around the corner from Memorial Hermann.

I would like for her friends to please email a picture of yourself for her memory album. Her therapist says it will help her in her recovery to have pictures of friends around her. Hopefully she will be back to school soon.

Will keep you posted.

Many Thanks for all your thoughts prayers, beautiful flowers & cards! :)

Why does it have to hurt?

Good morning Macey,
I heard through the grapevine that you are experiencing increasing pain due to rehabilitation.
Oh girl! let me tell you something…
This pain is good pain…this pain has a purpose
Think of it like the pain experienced in childbirth (before the days of epidurals or drugs) Well, I know you can't relate to that yet but.... you get my point...
This pain will produce a healed body that is fully functioning.
Without this pain…darling…there cannot be gain
Keep that in mind and also keep in mind the fact that
You will not remember this with the detail that you are experiencing it.right at this moment
This too shall pass
You too shall be well and strong again
God bless you Macey
Susie

Keep going strong

I am so glad to hear you are at TIRR now.  Another step in your amazing recovery.  Travis and Mandy talk about you all the time and say "Amen" for you every night.  Travis started T-Ball and can't wait for his girlfriend (you) to come see him play!  You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

The Hurts

Macey, You and Your Mom are both amazing Women. You have the will to survive and the strength to go forward. I am very proud of both of You and pray for each of You to have the courage to understand God's plan. I love Jeannie and have stayed close to You through her. Please stay strong. You are an inspiration to me and many others.

Macey, Jeannie, and Family,

Macey, I am so happy to know you are doing a whole lot better. Never losing faith, and praying is so powerful. You have so many people praying for you, that I know that the angels from heaven never left your side. You have a very strong mother who loves you with all her heart. Behind a very strong mother is a strong family(husband and children).
My name is Sara Garcia, and I work with NWNA and had the pleasure of meeting yor mom, who is a wonderful person. I hope to one day meet you too. I wish you a speedy recovery and I will keep on praying for you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers have been with your family since Alberts sent me the first update.
Keep the faith and we will keep praying.

It's your 3rd cousin

Hi Macey girl,

It has been a while since I saw you last. I hope you remember me and my sister Maria.

I want you to know you are on a continual prayer vigil in a group that has strong belief in miracles and I know God's angels work continuously for you and by you. They will not leave your side anytime soon. I promise you that.

I hope to visit you soon. I am visiting a hospital close to where you are daily for my treatment and rehabilitation, too. This week is my last and my hardest so, I will try calling you first.

I love you, Cousin Angie
